so any of you guys finished it cos this years is soo hard and that does not mix well with lagg and high ping

Just warning you right now, talking about Mineplex here will cause anger among many people.

 

More like a lot of "lol Mineplex"
No one really cares, it's basically the laughing stock of Minecraft servers.

 

I beat it two years ago (I think) and last year.
I may actually have to give it a shot.
Junkenstein's Revenge on Overwatch is a better alternative tho.

 

I beat it every year it was available, and gave this years a shot
I died instantly, but I might give it another shot later

Or rather, I died at the end of wave 5 and the remaining 8 people killed the boss.
Still got the pet tho :D

 

I prefer the old Halloween Horror, though this one isn't the worst thing possible.

 

It's actually the same thing as Junkenstein's Revenge this time.
I guess they gave up on making unique games.

i tried it,i finished it bc after 20 games my team used the strategy,didnt melee giants,and didnt suicide hugging creepers

we were 7 vs pumpkin prince

3 were alive
we all did a good job
except the hacker that was flying camping in to a tree...im glad a mod was in our team and banned it ._.

 

Holy crap I remember Halloween Horror

 

The highest i lived up to was wave 5 and that was on my 20th go on th event

 

Can someone tell me the rewards it gives? Last year it was some chests, not sure about this year's one.

Beat it with a cohesive team.
Had 11 or 12 people survive to the boss.

By the end, 10 people were left, including me, and we killed the boss. Yay

The trick is to coordinate the archers at a really campy spot that we called Archer Tower (Actually we called it Arty spot, since you basically could shoot at every single important area of the map, the two paths to the crypt and at the main giant cave)
It's important to have at least someone man this spot to provide cover fire over basically both paths, which is important for allowing your teamates to regroup after spending their abilities, and can provide good damage to the giants which spawn nearby.

You are very difficult to knock off, but it is easy to climb back up if you do. And you never die, unless someone knocks a giant zombie at you.

We all camped around crypt, with support from the archer post/tower.
Beat it so easily.

This year, the mobs are much more difficult, but the boss is much easier
Also compared to the overwatch thing, the overwatch thing is different since it has different bosses and stuff.

Halloween horror (this year) only has a final boss and waves upon waves of mobs.
But the crypt thing seems awfully similar....

So Mineplex improved this year's halloween horror.
Server is still pretty bad though in general
