    I'm on the island where the Galleon's Graveyard is, but there is nothing in or around the area that holds a key. Is this supposed to happen?

    it doesnt spawn there i think, try going to places its level? (i think it might appear in the middle part of gavel)

    Galleon's Graveyard Key Guardians can spawn in places like the volcano Islands and the Dark Forest, you can also obtain them from the seaskipper. Try going to those places.

    I would recommend farming for the keys around Gelibord. Every time I go there it seems like there is a guardian shooting those coal block projectiles at me.

    I've also heard they spawn around Pirate Cove or islands around lv60, and like Odnod said you can get them from the Seaskipper.

    I farm keys by just chilling on the sea skipper with my boi.
