Is False Banning Real?

I know a guy from a different server (I forget his name) who claims to have been false banned from Wynn for fly hacking when he really was not (idk if he actually was or not, but he claims no)

 

I was able to fly on Mineplex main lobby using extreme lag (where the entire lobby freezes, and basically you can insta-destroy blocks which doesn't replace itself and you can fly around)
Eventually you get kicked for disconnection or some other issue.

Maybe it's possible if enough lag happened, but I doubt so.
The thing about it is, that while you are lagging, everyone else will see you flying sporadically, like you are teleporting short distances ien the air at a time

I think it's probably near impossible to create in Wynn

 

I once asked marion about this, they have a way to fix that

 

Of course you can, but I'd say it is extremely unlikely

 

My friend got banned from mineplex twice. First, he got reported when it looked like he was flying but was just using the heavy arrows ability, and he couldn't appeal. Then, he had an ability(this is all in champions
) that gave reay good health regen, and he got autobanned for it.

 

They spectate(stalk) you before making these decision.

it is possible, albiet extremely rare. like, you need to have connection worse than dialup to trigger a false ban. even then, it's usually pretty clear of if someone's hacking or if it's just lag. due to this, protip: mods will know if you're lying in your appeal if you say "i was lagging". you didn't if we literally saw you clearly fly or something like that. tell the truth kiddos.

Hypixel community is toxic as hell. Mods ban people because they are salty

 

Let's not throw aspersions at other communities and their staff, please, at least, not in specific.

@Assassin4828 , the best thing that you can do, if you think that there was a mistake made, is to make a ban appeal, but please, as so many of the posters above have said, take into consideration that we really do follow and watch players for a decent amount of time so that we can be fairly certain whether someone is hacking or not. Sometimes, it's so blatant, that it only takes a couple of seconds, too. It all depends on what the player was doing at the time when we were watching them. We are all human, and we can all make mistakes, but if you really were hacking, don't lie about it, that's the worst thing that you can do.

Actually, Slime, we don't. It takes an awful lot of going-too-far before anyone would be banned. Someone may claim that it was one post that got them in deep trouble, and/or banned, but in reality? It's a history of causing problems and being in trouble, in the vast majority of cases.

 

I was forum tempbanned once from just one post that gave me 4 warn points. The other times were a bunch of stuff combined.

 

My point stands; 4 warn points isn't enough to get anyone temp banned. Xenphoro does it at 6 points, so, there must have been something else there at the time, which we don't need to go in to, right? Right.
