Can't Connect What-so-ever

For some reason, I can't establish even a remote connection with the server.
Either the server is down or the server is running a different version than what I'm using (and no I'm not on the snapshots).

If someone could tell me what Minecraft version it is so I can at least make sure it's not an issue on my end, I'd appreciate it. I can't find the version anywhere. Thanks for your time :)

Many thanks. I'm not sure why the game version wasn't listed (and no I'm not complaining about it).
Even on 1.8.9 though, I still cannot join the server though.

So I've even tried downloading the wynncraft enhanced pack on the curse launcher and I'm still unable to connect.

 

It's a you problem it doesn't list the version bcuz it can be played on anything 1.8+

 

It pings for a few seconds then says it can't make any connection to the server. I've connected to wynncraft before (this being a year or two back) so I don't know what the cause could be now.

 

Ip I'm using is play.wynncraft.com and it doesn't even show the wynncraft logo, as if the server doesn't exist. I've also tried the list of alternate ips that LordMuttonChops provided (props to them for going through the effort of making the list) and not a single ip worked.

 

Yes, though I won't name them because that is poor etiquette.
To put a perspective on things, most of the servers I am connected to are hosted in the UK and I have a very strong, stable connection with them. (I live in western Canada)

 

What's the error when you try to join before the pinging is done?

 

I already tried disabling firewall and completely reinstalled MC. Had absolutely no effect, though I thank you for your suggestion.
As for the ban, no. I wasn't banned, I got to the first town after the tutorial town (after the road from the caravan) and logged off. Never cheated, rarely spoke (and no inappropriate language either). Besides, even if I was banned, I would still be able to connect. I'd just be kicked upon trying.

Just says time out, no connection. I'm at university right now so I can't tell you exactly. I'll add on when I get home though.

 

If you remember my earlier statement as to how my game treats the server as non-existent (no conenction, no wynncraft logo) and that I've connected to the server before, as long as the region it's hosted in hasn't changed, then I doubt it's my own internet. If it was my internet, then it would ping for a while, connect, and lagg before the error. In this case however I can't even connect to it, and my internet is strong enough to connect to French servers (yes, I've tried) and have no problems.

 

Try changing the ip from .com to .net or .org I believe that still works

 

I've tried that, along with several other alternate IPs that LordMuttonChops suggested.
