Broken Stats..?

okay, so basically lets say my weapon is hymn of the dead, 15-20 air damage and 20% air damage, cool? i click on the compass, hover over to my stats,
"weapon: hymn of the dead"
*air* 15-20 damage
total: 15-20 damage

shouldnt my damage be pumped up a little bit? since i have 20% air damage?

this isnt the only case of this glitch or whatever the hell it is

my stats would show that meteor does, say, 64-68 damage, when in reality when i attack an enemy with it, id deal 300-500 damage

same case with all other spells

not like its game breaking for me or making the game unplayable or anything, just kinda bugging

am i missing something here? is this a glitch or what? pls help, ty

 

The compass stats are ridiculously broken and unreliable; never count on them to be accurate.

 

were they possibly broken due to recent patches / updates? because before the gameplay update, they seemed to work just fine..

They were broken for me (before the gameplay update).

 

they always worked for me, i dont know why its just recently that this glitch takes place for me

 

Next update: The compass update.

 

For me they were always broken. And I joined in 2014.
