The weather here is like a mood swing. One minute it's shining, next thing you know there's a storm coming your way.

People here are nice. That's all I have to say for that.

We eat a dark-coloured paste most foreign people hate.

We have some pretty dangerous animals here, but most people here haven't actually seen any first-hand.

    We're culturally diverse.

    We drive upside-down.

    Guess that continent

The UK is always unpredictable, even i have stopped relying on weather reports.
One day it could be red hot lasting 2-3 more days, the rest could be cold, windy etc.
Oh and of course, LOTS of rain. Yup.

Nothing interesting ever happens, though we have a crime rate of 0. It's temperate during late spring and early fall, the morning are cold af in mid spring and fall, but the afternoon is warm. Winter is cold, summer is hot. It's also been raining quite a lot recently. Once a few weeks back, we had a thunderstorm every night. It is not a highly populated area, so my ears don't get blasted out by city noises... Though none of my friends live close enough for walking to their house to take less than a half-hour... Then there is the part where it's rather boring living around here...

There is word of clowns nearby. I probably should go armed this halloween in case they think it a good idea to come...

    Update: We also just got a water shortage warning ;-;

I come from illinois, home to one of the more deadly cities in the US and some "interesting" governors and politicians. And there are clown rumors, I suppose I have to mention that here.

Here in Oklahoma you'll never know what the weather will be. During the winter it'll be snowing and feeling like 15-30° F one day then the next day it'll feel like it's 70-80°F. We're so unpredictable.

Oklahoma is not a good place to be for taking any sort of vacation either as it is pretty boring and not much happens around here. Maybe if you live in the city you might find something great but not all the time.

If you're interested in seeing Buffalo, wide open plains, wild life refuge then this is mostly what it's like here.

I live in Minnesota, eh. And yes I have a very heavy accent. It's alright I guess.
Usually snow from October-May typically. The time from June to September is usually gross, humid, and full of mosquitos. The snow is no big deal, it's mostly just a pain in the arse having to go outside when the windchill is below 0 Fahrenheit. Usually I can comfortably wear a sweatshirt until it gets to about 20F; I deal with the cold pretty well.
Other than the weather, people are pretty chill. Not too up in arms about anything. Political views, religion, or anything else isn't really thrown in your face here like in some other states. Though you can come across an asshole every now and then. I live in the very outskirts of the suburbs so it's quiet, but it's still a pretty bustling town. It's charming, though. Cute little boutique shops in the main downtown area, but we still have staples like Target, fast food places, Kwik Trip.

I take it you've never been stuck in traffick on I-94 or have never been unexpectedly caught up in the middle of an all-too-common protest we have in Minnesota...

Been in traffic on I-94 a couple times, but I tend to not go to that area much for...reasons. I'm more south between 35 and 52.

Holy shit you live on Whidbey? I love Whidbey island! I live down in Seattle, but still Washington pride. Also, you don't need to worry about Mt Saint Helens, its Mt Raineer you really need to worry about. It hasn't erupted forever, and is prone too soon.

I do think you give Washington a bad rap though. We have generally clean air, the rain here is more refreshing then depressing, and our winters are fairly mild. The natural beauty up here is rivaled with pretty much nothing else in terms of evergreen forests. Taking a hike in a damp, musky forest has its charm when your walking through giant purple flowers and towering fir trees. Its almost out of a fantasy novel.

The People (at least in Seattle) are known to be pretty cold to newcomers, but we are also the most progressive city in the country. We also have the most amount of hills, to where even the more suburban areas feel like their attached to the main city. We might not have too many landmarks, but I spend whole days travelling from vintage store to coffee shop with my friends. It's a unique landscape, one that I'm proud to call home.

I live in the most ironic town in california. We have an entire ocean of water but still live in a desert. Most people here don't even believe in climate change yet we have a greenbelt and bluebelt. And the weather is actually colder down here than up in the bay area (besides san francisco), despite being closer to the equator
