Need Help With Your Commands

So, I am creating something that involves moving a boat 1 block at a time like the Underworld Crypt dungeon. Can anyone tell me the command for me to move my boat one block at a time constantly for my command block. I want it to be like the dungeon where the boat moves. Is it the /clone or /setblock command? How do you have your boat set up? Like the command to move it? Thanks!

 

I'm no genius with command blocks, but I'd say use the /clone command. I mean using /setblock is fine too, but it requires more work.

You should have posted this in the Minecraft section, this is Wynn questions. As for your question, I suggest /clone with one block of air behind, so it deletes the back of the boat.
