See guys! I'm not a completely trash builder! I can randomly spam blocks too! Build suggestions pls, I need something to do other than sitting around watching YouTube.

I think for the mansion, there's a little bit too much cobblestone. Try mixing in some stone brick here and there to break it up a bit more, or replace the second floor cobble with another block for contrast. That's just the feel I immediately get from it though.
Each design definitely has a spark in it; just about flushing that out to its full potential. I'm not sure what else to really add, as I can't think right now. xD

 

I build that a while ago, just decided to post it here. I'm going to remove it, because I'd like people to judge the biome builds more.

 

It's not very good, but it's not really bad it's just meh. By that I mean it feels blank like there was little creativity put into it. You seem like you could be a very good builder you just need to try to be more creative. Try to add little things, like adding just Things around the buildings and make parts of the build that feel bland a little better.

 

Any suggestions of those little things that I can keep in mind? Also, which one are you talking about, if not both?

 

Hmm It's kind of hard to explain. I guess it's something you just learn though consent building. but like just add for example, hay bales, making things that look a little off just a little better, barrels, carts. Those are just examples again it's hard to explain.

 

I agree with both ConquistadorBob and PealescentMoon. There is a significant lack of detail in the builds. The snow biome could maybe use more vegetation besides trees or some creative terrain. The buildings might need more details around the window, the base and the very top attic walls. For ideas, just apply yourself to the situation =D!
If you were in a cold environment, how would you stay warm? Fire! Maybe a furnace in the house with a chimney, but where can we put the excess heat if it's too hot? Vents!
It may be a weird way of saying it, but for attic area, it's not uncommon to maybe include ventilation because heat rises to the top.

The jungle build definitely looks promising! The terrain seems a bit too steep for jungle, but it does have a chance to work. If you can encorporate enough bushes to cover 80-90% of the ground, it could be a very good start. Oh, you'll also need way more trees! Just make sure the atmosphere of the jungle makes the viewer feel envoloped in the canopy of the jungle with the tiny drops of light breaking a sweat on their backs. One last thing. Try less torches because that could cause a fire =O!

Anyways, thanks for posting this thread! I've been dying to view builds and try to help people! I've got some of my projects that are in progress too, but they'll take awhile before release =)

 

Thanks for the reviews, but I was looking for reviews on the interior of the jungle, and the exterior of the taiga biome. Guess I should have said that, rip. Anyways, what do you mean by creative terrain? I can't think of anything, and I live in a desert, so I'm going off of images.

 

If you're building fantasy terrain, maybe huge flowers or mushrooms would be nice

 

Interior of the jungle cave could be improved upon. First off, the red carpet in the bottom of the cave is too in-your-face. I'd recommend switching it for brown. Also, instead of using a bed, you can place a few red carpet in a 3x1 line, then like 2 snow pieces at the end of it to make a sleeping bag. Walls would look better if they were supported with logs. The cave texture looks good. The fences with torches should have cobble walls under them. GL!

The interiors are a bit bland, dont like them to much, also the trees on the first build are default, make customs they will look better

 

Don't worry about the interiors. I didn't spend much time on them.

And also, all the trees are custom...
