Trying to sell my items, I didn't say don't buy his, you do realise that everyone buys these to re-roll anyway..

 

Thread steal does not mean telling the others not to buy one's item, it is that you are luring customers away from him. Please make your own thread if you are that desperate to sell it which made you advertising in a good few posts.

 

Guess what? I've got my own thread, I gave this guy an option to buy another Blue Mask, I don't understand your problem, this is how the world works.

Because someone misunderstood the meaning of "Thread Steal", I came in and explain, adding some suggestion, and now I am considered to have problems.
Sounds pretty logical.
You having a whole shop selling stuffs, so do I. But not everyone that needs the specific item would look for every thread available. I have similar cases when I want to sell something, and wait for the timing when people wants that item, then I provide them with the ids and get a deal.
What I am saying is to make one own thread for it. Much more eye-catching and convenient for both the seller and buyer.
I only came to say that, and your reply make me feel like you are about to get into an argument and ready to bite at any moment.
Adding on : By providing an option, you distracted the business of the thread owner. Not only is that rude, it is not fair to the op as well. If you are the one that is selling a blue mask and someone else comes in and advertise, would you feel fine about it and let them take your customer?

 

When I've been holding onto an item, I want to sell it. I was waiting for someone to want one, and I've offered it him, because I've not seen that player purchasing one before. Blue Masks are an item people buy to re-roll, as there is some ridiculous profit available if you have some luck. If this player was looking for a Blue Mask to buy and use, then mine is overall better than listed on this thread, thats why I have offered him that. Its how the world works, and I've not tried to pull business away from Elian, but tried to provide business for myself.

I hope you understand why I did this, I was pretty salty that you're trying to stop me from selling my items, I'll go about it in whatever manner I please :)

 

I understand the reason for your actions. If only this was a buying thread, then your actions are completely fine...But this is a selling thread, where the focus should be the Blue Mask being sold by mister/miss Elian there. From rules, your actions are not wrong;But are people going to feel happy when people advertise on their post? I think most people won't. Maybe you can try opening a sole thread like this, I am sure that someone would show up for the Blue Mask you have. If what you do is how the world works, I will say that you will definitely change your mind when this happens to you.
You have the freedom to do what you want and talk how you like it, just note that all actions are followed by consequences.
Another thing to mention is that both the seller and buyer of this post are both online recently, so they might have made the deal already, actually...

 

I did actually talk to the buyer yesterday where we couldn't agree on a price, so the deal didn't happen, its not like I've not talked to the buyer.

 

I see. If that is the case, good luck finding another buyer. Just please understand that Thread Stealing is not a good thing to do, and for skipping the main part and answering the minor one, pfft.
Just going to stay out of this since it is pretty meaningless to me now.
