My Mask Keeps Glitching Out!

So a few days ago I bought the mask of courage, (one of the five elemental masks at Iboju village for the antic beads) and it glitched out. I logged off for a bit and when I came back on it was an alex / steve skin head. So I asked the moderator Broettinger cause he was online he said there was nothing we could do to fix it. So i was like, oh thats fine i guess it was just a glitch Ill buy myself another one it shouldnt happen again.

So I buy another one. Same thing happens, I log off for a bit and it glitches into an alex head, completely loses the design on the mask.

After the second time, I was pretty frustraited that this happened again when I spent a lot of time getting the antic beads to buy the item for a second time.

If anyone has advice of how not to get the mask glitch and/or a way to fix it please reply.

Maybe if i store it in my bank will it not glitch?

 

I had the same thing happen. There's no way that I know to fix it after it gets fucked lol

 

to be honest, it doesn't really matter. The texture is different, but the stats are the same

 

The stats are the same I think, just it looks ugly on you.

The game hates you

 

It does that whenever you relog, /class or switch servers
Nothing changes but the texture so whatever

 

It's because when it's unable to load the texture. It uses the default texture, which is either steve or alex. This happens with all heads in the game and it happens to me more often when I have bad internet, so if you really wanna solve it. Get better internet. (Although even with good internet, it happens every now and than.)

I think it actually has to do with NBT data updating/resetting so it loses the tag that says it belongs to a certain player.
