Any Class Help Cancer That Can Still Do Melee And Spell Damage

As you know, the helmet cancer takes away all of your melee and spell damage. But is there a way around this?
What happens if your cancer has close to -100% melee and spell damage, and you combine it with Leggings of Desolation ( up to +26% melee and spell damage ).
Or if you combine it with Tausus (+1300 melee damage).

 

Min is -98% anyways

 

I have yet to see one that low. What I want to know, is if percent increase cancels out percent decrease even if it is above 100%

it's all dependent on the formula, does cancer take 100% off the end after all damages have been calculated or before. Also if it's before percentage such as leggings of desolation doesn't work cause 20% of 0 is still 0.

If this does work, there is not point cause you still have like -60% spell damage with all +%spell damage things making your spell damage really weak.

 

If so melee damage from Tausus is combined with the -71% melee damage (from a -97% cancer and +26% leggings), you can still deal up to 923 melee damage plus 29% of your weapon damage.

Cancer and Tausus could cancel in attack speed, by using a weapon that makes you attack once every second, you will hit the opponent immediately after they take poison damage. Using cancer, leggings of desolation, and scropio you can deal 7938 poison damage. Add melee damage from Tausus, and you are dealing 3967 (plus 55% of you weapon) per second.

here is the math so far
-97% cancer + 26% leggings + 26% Taurus = -45%
7938 poison / 3 sec = 2646 dps
2646 dps + 1300 * .45 = 3231 dps
dps total = 3231+ weapon damage * 0.45 + element damage

 

if you were an assassin probably you would go wall breaker + earth breaker and have so much damage. wall breaker is 65%

Be sure to get amazing melee and thunder dmg on roulette, as little as possible negative melee dmg on cancer
and as good as possible melee dmg (both % and raw) on taurus.

It should hit like a beast.

(for instance, I got a 441% melee 448% thunder damage roulette and a 1160 raw damage taurus. Let's say I'll also have a -100% cancer with equal or more tier attack speed than taurus has negative tier attack speed.

melee DPH (damage per hit) = ((33 x 5.41) x 5.48) + 178.53 + 1160 = 2316.8744 at max melee dmg and 1160 at minimal melee dmg.

And that's EXCLUDING both all other armor pieces + the strength and dexterity stat, also the poison from cancer is being excluded here, and those do easily over-double this amazing dmg.

+ let's not forget that this is super fast attack speed. ;p

I have found a cancer that is able to test this. It has -99% melee and -102% spell. I have also found a decent Taurus. However, I am not a hight enough lvl yet to test this, I am only lvl 95.

The build works very well, I can deal 5k dps when attack speed is maxed out. It seems like the percents cancels out, even if cancer is above 100%. And so long as you weapon deals 1 natural damage, it will add Taurus damage onto it (element damage does not count).

Cancer plus Taurus is a good. But here is the problem. By putting so many skill points into str and dex, you make yourself a glass cannon. Also, many of the mana regen items can't be used with this build because of low int. Any ideas for making this better?

 

I tried to do Cancer-Taurus-LeggingsOfDesolation-Scorpio while using Aracadicus' Maw as my weapon. My Cancer has about -100% melee and -150 spell, +12 attack speed. My Taurus has -7 attack speed.
Cancer doesn't affect the melee damage on Taurus, so basically any weapon you use with the combo you will be tearing anything apart with that 1.3k pure damage with super fast attack speed and 7k poison damage. And even then, the melee damage from my weapon is around 500 with my Cancer IDs. Spells suck though. It all depends on your Cancer's IDs.
