Horse Not Physically Moving?

I just got my horse and I noticed that after moving maybe like 20 blocks I still move forward but get damage. I dismounted the horse and got teleported 10 blocks back and I noticed I was being attacked by Zombies.

Kinda like with boats. When you dismount you get tped back.

I cant use the horse at all now because I would die if I would go on and the chunks dont load after some time.

Dxp weekend is probably the issue, a lot more people online than usual.

It *works* on 1.8.9 but the speed of the horse is veeerryyy inconsistent. But still faster than walking.

 

All mounts on any version larger than 1.8.9 are kinda derpy

 

More specifically, a TPS deficiency.

 

I like how everyone except @PurifyX and a bit later on @Yuno F Gasai are blaming it on DXP weekend but as a former sufferer of this i know it's 1.9 or higher causing it

 

I have this issue. The game thinks you're stuck behind a block but your client shows that you've gone past it. If you have your game sounds on, and can hear no more horse noises, press shift and it'll be mush more easier. Also, if you're taking damage for no reason, you're horse is stuck behind a block with a mob attacking you. For this issues, just get off your horse.

 

Step 1: Don't use horses.

 

Whats that supposed to mean? I was the first one to suggest using 1.8.9, and that was the solution.
