Minimaps.

Ok, this is a very controversial topic I think because it's within the "Mods" part of minecraft. I was thinking about getting one for wynncraft, (turning off mobs, and items, and players so i could only see the map.) Although, I was wondering if it was also a bannable offense if I used waypoints? Like for starting quest npc's or towns of interest. Which would be the entire point of my having a minimap. I've heard you COULD have one as long as the mobs, items, and players don't display on the map, but it was never specified if you could have waypoints or not...

So.. all in all, was just wondering can I get banned for using a Minimap, with waypoints on?

 

No you can if radar are desactivated ^^

 

No, you won't get banned; it's pretty easy to find your way around anyway though, with the official map and the fan-made one.

 

I only wanna really use it so I can remember where a specific npc was... (Somewhat have memory loss... especially with a large map such as wynn)

 

You can use minimap, and you can use waypoints.

If you have mobs/players/items visible on the map (like an entity radar), it will be treated as using a client modification to gain an advantage, so please disable entity radar if you haven't already.


Waypoints don't give an advantage over writing the coordinates down or remembering things, so its fine to use.
