Hello all! Today I'm going to look over 'The Hero of the skies' Siegfried!

First, let's take a look at what the NPCs have to say about Siegfried.



Found in Llevigar, by the exit to the plains.



Found in Cinfras, near the Siegfried fan shop.



Also in Cinfras, next to the Fan Shop.



In Ahmsord, opposite the Fan Shop.

It seems that Siegfried is only known in Southern Gavelian cities, notably the richer & Larger ones, such as Ahmsord, Llevigar & Cinfras.

You can also buy a wide range of Siegfried Merch, such as Swords, Cookies, his Diaries, and a figurine! I've bought both of the available Siegfried collectables marked 1/3 and 3/3, but nothing has really happened.

Okay, time for the theories!

My theory is that Siegfried is just a hoax. I believe he never really did these things, such as fighting a dragon and slaying Orcs. I believe that it's all just a bunch of hippy-dippy baloney. He's just doing it for money. Money, money. That's all Villagers want, correct? (We don't know if he's villager or not yet) Let's compare him to Bob. Bob never had fanboys, or Merchandise. He just did his thing and moved on. Siegfried, however milked his publicity, and got loads of cash out of it. Siegfried, also might be looking for an apprentice, though this is quite 'out there'. It has been proven that Siegfried has appeared in the Gavelian newspaper, or at least 'The Llevigar Daily' Or somewhat.

Here's a list of what Siegfried 'Supposedly' has done:

Slain a dragon, protecting Ahmsord
Recently killed a load of Orcs
Created a fan club.

Now, there's not much we know about Siegfried, so I've done as much as I can. Sorry for such a short thread & theory, but there's seriously not much to work off.

Siegfried is a sell out.

He's obviously a "Siegfraud". No evidence of him doing those things, along with all of them being impossible for any race in Wynncraft.

He's said to have cleared an orc army in about 5-10 seconds and blocked dragon's fireballs in "all directions" IN AHMSORD, both of which would require impossible physical strength or magic that Siegfried has no evidence of receiving.

His "feats" only happened in densely-populated areas like Llevigar and Ahmsord, yet nobody saw them, the only evidence is from books, which is very easily faked. Villagers want money and popularity, and absolutely nothing else (Villagers think being poor is worse than death). Siegfried could've faked it and wrote a book just for money and fame, the two things all Villagers desire (It's unknown if he's a Villager, but since it happened in Villager-inhabited areas and that's where his merchandise is, it's the likely species).

Didn't we (the player) slay a bunch of Orcs (Green Skinned Trouble, Clearing the Camps etc.), and 'fight' a dragon (Feeding Ozoth the flower)? Maybe Siegfried is just claiming our publicity?

Also, it might be useful to note that the Seaskipper Captain roasts bob when he says something along the lines of 'Siegfried wouldn't be killed by a bunch of wolves (like bob)'

 

Well Ozoth is in Thanos, not in Ahmsord.

 

If its not a hoax or money generator (fan club), it's possibly the groundwork for another new quest in Gavel!! Fingers crossed! xD

 

Siegfried is also part of norse mythology.

Dwarves in Thanos say that Ozoth had a brother, and they attacked in pairs. They managed to one day capture and kill Ozoth's brother while he was alone. Another Dwarf says that the dragons were born in the molten heights above. There's dragon eggs in the molten heights above. What if a dragon were to hatch from one of those eggs, and fly south to Ahmsord? Or maybe Ozoth's brother was the supposed dragon that attacked Ahmsord. I don't recall the Dwarves ever being deceitful, so I think it's good that we trust them. Villagers however are deceitful, so we can't trust everything Siegfried's fanboys say.

TL;DR

Siegfried could've claimed the dwarven publicity by killing Ozoth's brother.

Let's hope so! Mainstoryline, here we come!

Yes, he is a hero in the mythology who slays a dragon! Perhaps Siegfried isn't a spoof all along...?

He's apparently gone to Gelibord to slay some werewolves, and has a cooking book.

Have you noticed that all the Siegfried dolls are missing a face, yes yes masks are sold out but what if not, what if there actually IS NO SIEGFRIED what if Siegfried is just a legend created to make money hence why the masks are "sold out". What if those were never actually made in order to keep Siegfried a legend...
