Yes. As you know, this is the scene of Gavel teaser trailer. This is the part which is introducing 'In-Game cinematic'. But that's not the main topic I want to talk about in this thread.



This one is exactly I wanted to talk about. Bak'al. A.K.A. The leader of horde, enemy of gavel.

He didn't come out as a boss or NPC on Gavel Expansion. Not even at The Gameplay Update.(A.K.A. 1.14.1 Update). I doubt that he will come out at next update.

So. When does he come out? I mean, in game. Like a NPC or Boss. He's taking a big part of main story of Gavel province.(Or maybe... He could be MacGuffin.) I predict that he would come out at Gavel storyline update(if it is planned.), as CT can't ignore his majority.

What do you think about this one?

Ragnar has been already mentioned across Wynn a couple times, Ba'al did so too (I'm pretty sure) and I'm slightly positive he will come out with the main storyline.

This was either for a scrapped quest (One definitely come to mind) or it was for the storyline quests which are coming later.

 

They said they had some minor update, then the rework-entire-code-of-wynncraft update, then likely the Storyline Update. In another thread, I predicted it would be out by January...

If he comes out as a boss, how strong he could be? Maybe stronger than Death, Qira, or even Orange wybel?

 

Just reading this now, it seems very similar to legion(even though I haven't played it yet so correct me if I'm wrong.)

 

My thought process

1. This is Ragni
2. Why would 2 of the most powerful people be in Ragni, one being a horde leader?
- To fight with and against a swarm
3. How many swarms have happened so far?
- none except for a short lived on in beta.
4. Why on earth is salted mentioned?
- ...
- ....
- ...
- ....
- ...
- I have no idea.

2. Because in lore, Ragni would classify as a "Wynn power".(Basically a powerful town, like Troms)

4. They probably used a test cinematic (Ragnar and Bak'al are players) and they used Salted as the placeholder for the player.

 

Perhaps it's like that early game moment were you see the badassery of one of the characters. Also the horde would come to Ragni as it is the source of recruits. If you know anything about bob, you'l know there has been over 50 hordes in Ragni

 

I think it's for the main storyline, which will likely be out next. I'm guessing February 2017, as an optimistic view. Well, let's be patient and wait and see.

 

I'll be really disappointed if this is a cutscene for Swarms and not the official storyline. Even though its probably not.

 

The Archon is a unit of the Protoss Faction/Race
It has unusually high amount of shields, but very small smount of health
It is ranged and can attack Air and ground units

This can be gained by combining two High Templar/Dark Templar
Has access to the feedback ability (deal damage based on the amount of energy the enemy has) and psionic storm (AOE damage over time ability)
Variants of the archon include the Dark Archon, which has different abilities and color than regular archons (Only in campaign and co-op I think) and the one variant that Alarack is getting in co-op mode (forgot the name)

Basing this knowledge off of what I remember from the basic game and from Co-op.
I'm a bit rusty on the Archon, since I don't really use it in co-op... too much of tech switch in co-op mode
Maining Artanis, I really only need Dragoon Zealots with some Immortals.

However
Back on topic, I just saw that the NPC said the player's name.
I don't think most NPCs do this, ad they refer to you as "adventurer" or by some other thing.
Not sure if there is some quest I forgot, but I am pretty sure I haven't seen that

 

I think Grian said the next thing is a "mini storyline" questline for molten heights
Then after that the MAIN storyline

 

Pretty sure this is of the main storyline because, any regular storyline won't have these sort of effects (cause the main storyline is more important, and should have way more of a quest composition than any other quest you may see now)

I predict a sort of beginning to the mini-storyline to be released in December of this year (every year a sort of update is released in December), or at least a hint. I do not expect a full release of the mini-storyline for at least another 4 months.
