Help: How The Weapons Speed Works !?!?

I have a doubt regarding the speed attack of Weapons.
How can i understand which is the best spell damage between a Fast & Slow attack speed !?
For example: Cascade & Manablast, they are 2 rainbow staffs for mage

Cascade with 12-24 for each element but Very Fast & Manablast with 75-125 for each element but Very Slow
In the Compass section under the Spell Damage voice there isn't any value (idk if it's a bug)
So, which one of those 2 do the best Spell Damage !?!?

Very fast->higher dps
Very slow->lower dps

So technically fast/very fast/Super fast weapons deal greater spell damage since they are quicker to cast spells as compared to slow/very slow/Super slow.

 

Very fast: deals 2.5 times damage for spells
Very slow: deals 1.2 times damage for spells.

 

That's how youtubers do the click baits.

So if i cast a spell (without count the bonuses) with a Cascade i can do [150-300] Damage & with the Manablast [450-750], right !?

 

Basicially yes, but multiplyers may change already since it is so outdated.

Edit: Very slow deals 0.8 times only, so basicially the same.

 

The weapon attack speed (Not +tier anymore) heavily increases/reduces the damage, Since the damage formula is based around DPS (Damage per second), Therefor super fast attack speed = 3 times more damage, And super slow attack speed = 3 times less damage, But because most of the time slow attack speed items has really high base damage, And fast attack speed weapons has really low base damage, They are both pretty balanced.

Actually not. The damage is multiplied by how many times the weapon can attack in a second. So very fast attack speed deals 2.5 times damage since it hits 2.5 times per second. Very slow, however, attack 0.8 times per second.

 

Your multipliers don't work out since slow weapons don't deal negative damage, so the "negative x times" part is completely false and nonsensical. The confirmed multipliers (and attack speeds) are:
Super Slow .7x
Normal 2x
Super Fast 4x

These might be outdated by now , but not to my knowledge.

 

Super fast is actually 4x and super slow is .5

 

Normal and Super Fast you got right, but Super Slow is *0.51.

 

The attack speeds and spell multipliers are
super slow: .5
very slow: .7
slow: 1.3
normal: 2.0
fast: 2.6
very fast: 3.3
super fast: 4.0
With no buffs, cascade should deal around 356 dps, and 350 for manablast.

 

Was that changed or did I remember it wrong? Must have been thinking of Very Slow probably.

 

Wait so with armor with + attack tier's, how many tiers will it need to go to the next, example: how man y+ attack tiers to get from fast to very fast, or from normal to fast?

 

Oh so that's how Az deals 12k arrow bombs. So long I thought that it was only supposed to do 250 percent by 65 percent by 50 percent by armor resulting for like 5k

 

+1 Tier = Super Slow to Very Slow or Very Slow to Slow or Slow to Normal and so on

 

So a super slows melee dmg would do more dmg than the spell dmg?
