Old Pirate Hook

Hello, so yesterday, I was farming the Seaskipper for a Galleon's Graveyard key, but I found this instead:

Does anyone happen to know what I could do with this? Maybe there's a merchant that will buy it somewhere?
(As it says on the item's lore)

 

It might be for a future quest revolving around the Seaskipper

Or it could be useless like me YOU NEVER KNOW WITH WYNNCRAFT ITEMS

 

I remember 2 items from the volcanic islands that were untradeable but were never used in a quest, so it could be a merchant somewhere in game, but I dunnooooo.

There is a merchant in the pirate place where you can sell it for like a couple of eb.

Soooo, just entering there you can see an NPC that says he lost his hook, maybe if you talk to him, something will happen. In the second house entering the island.

 

I found it, it's worth only 2 EB, doesn't seem worth it. But thanks everyone for helping :)

It says it's an untradable item which means it cannot be sold so how the heck are you able to sell it on pirate island?

I have never heard of an untradable item being sellable (usable in a quest sure)

 

If I remember right the Corrupted Treasure or whatever you get from Reincarnation is untradable. Guess what you can trade it for.

 

and that's a quest reward item (like study results from elemental exercise)
