Right I get that I'm just saying to watch my video you specifically so you know what to do trying to help. And I know that as well that's why my video needs more views so they see that it's the newest update of the game

Thanks but after about 2 shouts in game i found someone to help me and this post was posted quite a while ago so this is more fore other people who have the same trouble as i did

and too be fair my original reply for how to do this was only like a few hours ahead of Jewce's video :)
I just find it easier to read what your supposed to do then to watch a video and try to follow at the same time :)

Ok so i found the ghostly seeds and there is a way to get the ghostly cap for free wither you do this or not:

All three items to get the cap can be found at the following locations:

Ghost 1 can be found in the very left room of the third floor. (it's right by the stair you come up to to the floor in the first place)

Ghost 2 can be found in the last room at the end of the hall on the third floor.

Ghost 3 on the other hand is in a completely different location which is why it took me so long to find, you can find Ghost 3 in the front left "garden" area, to get there go through the front door and up the stairs, then down the left hall to the end, instead of going up the stairs to third floor go through the door that is behind them and walk into the "garden", once you have all three item you can drop them in the hopper in the middle room on floor three and it will give you the Ghostly cap

If you were lucky like i was and were grinding the area for hours then you have a chance of getting the cap regardless of the steps above because the cap if a super rare drop at the mansion already but you wouldn't know it till you identified it anyways and the cap for the quest is dyed.

So there you have it, a fullish guide to get the ghostly cap for free. :) Enjoy

I will hopefully be allowed to edit the official wiki with all this info and more that i found in the area while doing this quest, like all the different lore in the area and the full scope of what to do to complete this quest the fun way :)

Yeah I actually ended up finding it on my own but thanks for the guide. Hopefully no one will have to ask this question again.
