I Can't Get The Ghostly Cap

After the recent update I've been trying to do the Quest "The house of Twain" and whenever i go up the stairs to buy the Ghostly cap the merchants not there so if anyone knows why or anything to help me please message me

 

There's a new way to get it, but I don't know how.

The old one cost was 1 LE :P he isn't selling probabily for 16 EB

 

For one he says he's renting it to me, for two there is a way to get it for free it's just listed nowhere

 

You have to get a ghostly quill, ingredient and seeds and throw them in the hopper at the top of the mansion. I'm not sure how to get the seeds, but if you walk into random rooms in the mansion mobs will spawn on you that drop the other two.

I don't know i did a global shout and someone knew so they helped me and they said something about killing tripwire hooks

Ok so i found the ghostly seeds and there is a way to get the ghostly cap for free wither you do this or not:

Spoiler: Where to find ghosts

1. All three items to get the cap can be found at the following locations:
   1. Ghost 1 can be found in the very left room of the third floor. (it's right by the stair you come up to to the floor in the first place)
   2. Ghost 2 can be found in the last room at the end of the hall on the third floor.
   3. Ghost 3 on the other hand is in a completely different location which is why it took me so long to find, you can find Ghost 3 in the front left "garden" area, to get there go through the front door and up the stairs, then down the left hall to the end, instead of going up the stairs to third floor go through the door that is behind them and walk into the "garden", once you have all three item you can drop them in the hopper in the middle room on floor three and it will give you the Ghostly cap
2. If you were lucky like i was and were grinding the area for hours then you have a chance of getting the cap regardless of the steps above because the cap if a super rare drop at the mansion already but you wouldn't know it till you identified it anyways and the cap for the quest is dyed.

So there you have it, a fullish guide to get the ghostly cap for free. :) Enjoy

I Know but when u search House of twain ghostly cap the ones with the top views will show up at the top of the list and be a year old
