The new Temple of Legends quest is absurdly difficult and tedious...

Not to mention CoW is absurdly overpowered.

At least it's better than grinding out 64 leather, 64 blaze powder, 64 rotten flesh, getting 2 tier 2 powders, travelling back and forth from islands, Troms, pigman's ravines, etc.

 

Why exactly did you have to go through pigman Ravine for this quest? Lol don't remember doing that at all

What's the new quest like?

 

Can someone elaborate the new steps? I really wish I could do it again, but I'm too lazy to level up another one of my classes.

 

It's a fucking joke. It's difficult and tedious, and the boss is absurdly overpowered; I died in 10 seconds.

 

You have to go into the creepers cave (in the pigman's ravines, of course) to talk to that guy in the helmet making process or w/e.

The boss hasn't really been changed in design much since the beginning of the Gavel update. Its elemental defenses have been reduced, and it has Pull along with Multihits(but on enough of a delay that you have plenty of time to move away).

It's rather meant to feel like an ordeal. You're literally having to travel all over Wynn to find what you need to find, having to have completed many of the quests previously in order to do so, instead of sitting in front of Ragni for an hour or two grinding Weak Zombies, or sitting in the middle of Katoa Ranch for two hours to get some leather.

The new ToL asks you of your skill as a player and your knowledge of the province as a whole. The old ToL asked you not of your skill, but your patience.

 

I honestly can't wait till I get to 68 now on my ninja.. (at lvl61 right now :P)

Not so easy now that you can't camp on a bush, hm?

 

I know from experience that that thing is a pain to fight on the open field. Why do you do these things to us? ;-;

First time I fought him, I used spin attack to get him stuck in a wall.

I actually went and re-fought him to help out a passerby, while tough, he's not that bad.

I think we angered Selvut...

 

I mean it's a community based update...
