Unkillable Npc Holding A Key.

I'm at about level 20, and occasionally (usually near nemract) an NPC holding a key will spawn in. The NPC mentioned has no name, only a short black line (like peaceful NPCS in towns) and, also like peaceful NPCs is seemingly impossible to kill. He also does insane damage, using an attack similar to the assasins multihit.

I have a few questions relating to it's existence:

1. Why does it spawn?

2. Where does it spawn?

3. Can it be killed?

4. Can you outrun it?

5. Is there anything else I missed relating to it?

I will try and get a screenshot of it for you guys.

 

Might be a key holder for the nearby Zombie Dungeon. If you kill it he will drop the zombie dungeon key.

 

It can definitely be killed (I 1shot it) It just keeps respawning until you kill it 3 - 5 times i think

 

Seems to be the zombie dungeon npc. From my experiences with this thing at level 20, here's some answers to your questions:
1. Dungeon key guardians spawn in areas appropriate to their level. This is an appropriate area for it's level.
2. I've seen it spawn anywhere around Ancient Nemract and the area just north of Detlas. Both of which happen to be good ways of getting from Detlas to Nemract at that level.
3. At your level, if you're lucky.
4. Since it's charge is so frequent, it is impossible to outrun, at least for your level.

 

Well what level were you? I killed it easily. and yes, Its a key Guardian for Underworld Crypt
