The Mask Salesman - Where Is He From?

We all know the quest Macabre Masquerade "Hallowynn 2014".

and.. he says these lines in his dialog:

• Mask Salesman: You must retrieve the mask, I must depart in 3 days! Could you brave the corrupted cave and retrieve it for me?

• Mask Salesman: I would really like to hear what you have encountered in that cave, but I must prepare to leave, I have many masks to sell on a far away continent.

A far away continent. Is this Gavel? Fruma? Dern? We still don't know.

I was wondering if anyone knows the anwser to this.

The entire NPC is a reference, and no such provinces existed at the time.

since the whole thing is just a reference to Majora's Mask, i doubt it means anything significant

The mask salesman serves no purpose. The departure in 3 days to a faraway continent is just a reference to Majora's Mask.

I only watch theories on majoras mask, so i know the basics of it. You need the Mask back from Skull Kid within 3-5 days because the Mask Salesman has to leave im 3-5 days and the moon is evil or something.
