Cow Passage Entrance?

Today I was exploring the reworked citites, and discovered this VSS new sea tp system, and in a trip from Selchar to Nemract, the sailor gave me an item the last costumer lost, what item? The Cow Passage.

I searched a bit for that and figured out it was a quest rework for the Kotoa Ranch thing, and it tp's you from Kotoa to Detlas outdoors.

Im still trying to find the entrance of this passage, haven't found it in Kotoa nor Detlas :(
Maybe I can't use it if I've already done the quest... Who knows.

 

You can, but it is very hidden

 

Why would you ever need to go to Katoa in the first place

 

The Katoa entrance is on the southern side of the Katoa hill. You'll see coal portal blocks.
The Detlas Suburbs entrance is behind Drale's house. There is a cave there.
You'll find a cave with cows, and a hopper at the end either way. The hopper opens a way through to the next part of the tunnel, which ends at the other entrance.

Because it's near Ragni, making the Cow Passage essentially a fast travel from Ragni to Detlas.

 

Except if you do that you'll be under-levelled by the time you get to Detlas, and you'll miss a couple quests.

 

Not really. The quest is level 15, and you should have gone to Detlas by then. But in some quests you need to go to Ragni, or you might just want to go to Ragni (possibly for the corrupted dungeon?).

 

I was under the impression you meant as a quick way to get to Detlas for the first time, and that you didn't need to do the quest to use it.

 

No, I think you need to do the quest for it. Though if there isn't, then there's nothing stopping you from getting them from the animal dungeon (or another class).

 

I believe you can also buy them from a merchant
