Media Salted's Murder?

I found this exploring the new Pirate Island. (Improved over 9000, you should go check it)

I found a Tavern called 'Ye Salty Cow' -Reference to Salted, discovered by @Ryc



So I entered. Here you can see some pictures from the inside:


As you enter there is this fancy room with tables a door, a stairway with a door behind it.


In the right side door, you can find the Bar Merchant, he sells Drunkness potions. Everything looks fine.


This is the hole behind the stairs, there is a Nemract Whiskey Barrel, full of it. The room looks weird since it is made of stone. Looks like an empty storage of the bar.


As you climb the stairs you can see another floor with more tables and stuff.


And then there is this iron door. There are no buttons, but I figure a way to get in. (Jumping from the stairs, there is no wall inside the door room).
I get in, and there is a ladder down to the Bar Merchant.


What the heck?!! He has a corpse inside the bar! You can see a skull and some blood in the ground.
You can't see the murder from the bar part, just smell the rotten plague of the town.

Pirate Island's economy be growing so he gotta eliminate some competition for his drink business yo

 

woah what a bar. thats totally salted who's the corpse. (he rejected this idea and the pirates killed him.)

What happened is after the Misadventures at Sea they ended up killing and eating Salted.

 

Try putting something on that wooden pressure plate on the bar... it seems suspicious.

There's also "The Salted Salmon" in Troms, though I don't think it has a corpse in it....
