New Soul Point System

Okay so im a lvl 33 archer, and the new soul point system along with another bug or two caused me to lose
3 EB+ (which is quite a lot to me).
i was going up a hill in between almuj and rymek.
i kept getting horse lag so i hopped off and walked over to a camp, the quest there was to high a lvl so
i went behind it to fight some mobs.

im almost 34 to and hyped to get a free horse (i bought one from a player already though :P)
so i killed all the mobs and decided to go down into the valley/ravine to kill more guys so i used escape to jump off so i wouldn't take fall dmg.

BUUTTT i glitched out and escape didn't work so i fell down to my death.... i was at 8 soul points at the time and on the update changes it says:

"Soul Points system has been reworked. Now instead of dropping everything at 2 SP and less, you will have a chance to drop your item the less soul points you got. Don’t worry, nothing of value should drop until you reach 5 SP, and horses will never drop."

if i new that this wasn't necessarily true for lower lvls (3 EB i guess isn't "of value" to higher lvls) i wouldn't have been so reckless and jumped down in the first place (even though i would be fine if escape worked properly)

when i went back to get the emeralds i dropped there was NOTHING there i was like o_O and now i writing this

so now im 3 EB+ short and i need the money because i have negative health regen on my armor so i die over time which is a real pain (literally)

Sadly i dont have screen shots the only way i can say im not faking is because if i was faking i would probably ask for more than 3EB

Please help this is very frustrating I dont know what to do :(

Just keep playing; you'll be able to easily make 3 EB back from quests and mobs.

I suggest you also read up on the changes in the new update.

 

i did read up on the update but aparently 3 EB isnt "of value" and i will work on it but its not as easy as it sounds for me at least, and like i said i have negitive health regen so i cant spare 3 EB and i cant just go grind it back. also this isn't just for me there may be problems in the system that end up causing more than a 3 EB loss. Like the update just needs some adjusting

 

It's not a problem in the system; when they say you "shouldn't lose anything until 5 SP", it means the chance of it happening is very low.

 

yeah but maybe you lose less at a lower level? say you work really hard and get almost an LE then die at 8 SP and lose like 10 EB that would be very unfair. also its not just the Soul Point system my escape also glitched :/

 

At lower levels, you're supposed to be cautious. It makes sense; you don't have good gear or a lot of health, so you should be avoiding death and deadly scenarios as much as possible.
