Do You Like The Hitting Cooldown Thing?

My name is SPETO12349 and i'm making a statistic about how did people like the hitting cooldown feature

 

Spam an axe m8 and pray for gold

 

m9 if ur talking about mineman pvping then no. Nobody likes the the hit cooldown feature. Take it from me as ive been a part of the factions/pvp community for quite some time now and all those servers are in 1.7/1.8

 

I actually like it a lot
Especially since I'm the only one who doesn't spam click and can usually win in 3v1s cuz everyone else does no damage

 

quite a lot of players used killaura and we're done with it!

 

m8 no faction/pvp server has updated beyond 1.8 except for a few like badlion. The cooldown is terrible for pvp as its made it so slow. Personally i wouldnt play factions or pvp in general if the servers updated beyond 1.8

m8 if u cant tell when someones using killaura then theres seriously something wrong with you. Most servers (pvp/factions) these days have anticheats capable of banning people using killaura fairly quickly. And people have become alot better at screensharing (ill explain wut this is if you want) which has led to most people using clients getting banned. Sure your goin to run into the odd person using a client/autoclicker but is rather that than the complete aids that is the cooldown pvp

There are a few. Also, I actually prefer the slower, more tactical PvP because beforehand it basically came down to whoever had the better ping and could cheese the other player better. Now, if you want to go for a cheese strat, IE cobwebs, you have to have a mild recovery to keep you from swinging away. Also lingering potions are amazing.

 

and people like you are why factions servers are fucking horrible, so if you're gonna give shit to other people who don't have the same opinion as you, please leave.

as someone who's an absolute tryhard at pvp, i personally kind of like the change
it's a more than "live next to a server host" or "have good ping", and there's also a lot more strategy then just spam clicking to defeat another pixelated blob

 

1. Factions servers are actually one of the best type if you actually know what ur doin (git gud)
2. Your being a tad bit of a hypocrite by trying to insult me plus the fact that you werent even involved in the conversation in the first place.
3. Mr. "Pvp tryhard" the only reason you dislike the older pvp is because you clearly werent any good as if you were you wouldnt prefer the cooldown.
4. The fact that you think 1.7/1.8 pvp involves no strategy and is basically who has the better ping also shows me that you were clearly bad at pvp in 1.7/1.8 as ping doesnt make much of a difference unless theres like a 100ms difference between the people fighting and even then strafing will negate the ping advantage making the fight fair. Also you claim that 1.9 pvp involves "alot more strategy". Lol wut? Its basically comes down to who gets the first hit in 1v1s. And the fact that you think 1.7/1.8 pvp involves little strategy is also funny as it shows you have clearly never heard of pot/soup pvp which is basically the main pvp type of every pvp/faction server currently. The pvp that you seem to associate with these versions is called gapple pvp where it is basically who has the greatest cps, ping and aim. But most faction servers have introduced gapple cooldown meaning soup/pots have to be used making your point invalid. And dont even get me started on mcsg. If you think that mcsg is basically who has the better ping and cps then im afraid you need to see a doctor as its probably thee most strategy heavy pvp type in minecraft atm. And yes ik that theres also mcsg in 1.9 but to compare that to the older versions would just be stupid as some of the "great features" of 1.9 pvp make this gamemode so stupid and boring. Such as those arrows that let you see people through walls. "Yay ik a good idea lets introduce xray into mc pvp great idea really fun and fair!!!" stupid features such as this is what makes 1.9 pvp so bad. Ive played a fair share of 1.9 mcsg and legit its basically turned into a bows only gamemode which i dont see as particularly fun or strategy intensive.

Now go play your "strategy intensive pvp" Mr Pvp tryhard!

Id have to disagree with the "more strategy" point for reasons outlined above in my response to mr pvp tryhard but i can agree with you on the fact that features such as lingering pots and SOME of the potions arrows were actually a good addition to mc but the cooldown for me and alot of others just makes pvp so boring and slow.

i mean there's a lot more strategy with shields and hit cooldowns than there is with prot 4 armor and jitterclicking

if i've never heard of either of this why would i even write my post in the first place?
in pot pvp it's literally "drink your potions, when you're low splash your potions, and ender pearl away to drink more potions sometimes"
imo soup is just "you get splash potions but no splash, good fight"
also there is soup pvp on big factions servers?? uh ok

how was i supposed to know this? i didn't want to hop on the top 20 factions servers and eat a gapple each to see if there's a cooldown or not only to ask you to leave

imo strategy isn't really "quickly hit with your rod to get a combo and fns sometimes"

implying that the pvp gamemode is boring, or?

Pvp servers: Parapots, Pvp lounge, Mcsg, Badlion/kohi

Minigames: Hypixel, Mineplex, Hive etc.

Wut im saying is that nobody good plays on servers such as hypixel
