I think its better to realease it without, right now alot of people still have a little time to enjoy the update before school starts,
With or without the boat, but if you wait with the release alot of players are gonna have school.
So they won't have reall have time to enjoy the update anymore.
Yes, it's a nice addition to the update, but it isn't the biggest change at all in this update.

 

it is. with the boat, you go to Llevigar in 3 minutes, but the SS takes about 50 seconds.

 

It's 40 sec (sometimes 2 second more or less)

Dont release it without the seaskipper. If you do, we'll need to do a followup-followup update, which'll probably take another year. I'm done with that kind of wait, 8 days is NOTHING.

So please everyone, take into account that the wynn team often over-completes their updates to be FULL updates like minecraft does, instead of adding bits and bobs in single amounts. Just deal with the wait, and play in your free time when you finish. At night, on weekends, etc.

Its not like the extra 8 days of live realm will count in the LONG run, since some of us have played since the beginning, like 4 years or so ago, and most others have played for at least 1 year.

Thats 365 days.

Minus 8, its 358 days or so. Plus, winter break and such will help, as well as spring and summer breaks before it and after it in the next year, so trust me when i say 8 days is nothing

Since when was the last time a patch added such a big feature as fully dedicated fast-travel?

B. You can just remove the merchant, and reimplement him when the code is fixed

They fixed the spell damage bug, and basically ruined every current spell damage build.
I'm confused as to why you're sayaing "again" as this is the first time you brought it up. Also, a lot of people might not be able to play the update if it comes out after school begins, or will barely be able to play due to homework, or if you're me, being forced to share a computer.

 

Well, i dont mean "it wouldnt work" i mean it'd be delayed, so it was 'again'

also, That was a bug removed, not a feature added.

And finally, yes. Some people wont be able to. But would you rather play less than have to wait several months for a boat to be added, delaying progress on the next big update? the one with ACTUAL STORYLINE AND SUCH? (and those raid boss things from Castle Dullahan and The Realm of Light)

 

I bet your fine with it because you are IN the beta, 90% of us are not as lucky as you rich top 10 players who can enjoy the update and not have to worry about waiting because your in the beta by default .-. , It would not be a buggy unfinished update it would be an update that EXCLUDES broken features and gives us something to do for a while until they get their beta bugs fixed. Also if we just say oh its fine delay it as long as you want it just might come out august 2017 and that is not a risk I wanna take.

JessSenpai why delay all the quests the powders the cool dungeons and the 8 months of hard cold work due to something that can just remove a merchant and be temporarily delayed for like a week, Also there is no guarantte it will be fixed the second Lotem is back in the first place , it could take weeks and then the entire non ocean related stuff will just be sitting there collecting dust and slowly the huge hype train that is currently going will die down and become the players very own laments ;c

 

@Lotem not sure if you already know it, but I think Seaskippers work now perfectly!

 

Well, I guess this argument is pointless because they apparently fixed the seaskipper

 

A follow-up update would likely be a lot longer to complete than just extending the beta.

Plus, the longer it takes for us to completely finish 1.14.1, the longer the content team will have to put off starting the 1.15 CORKUS UPDATE!!

Also try to log out or use /kill or /class while sailing and tell me how it is?
