I haven't tried out the beta for myself yet, but I have a concern to share about the new identification system.

Everyone will want to Re-ID their items with bad identifications and sell them off for high prices. However, what if you tried to sell a bad mythic and claimed that it has never been identified before? Without a doubt, items with no reidentifications are much more valuable than those that have been identified over and over again.

According to beta testers, there isn't a system for knowing how many times an item has been identified, besides testing how many emeralds it will cost. In a trade window, you won't be able to see the identification cost. Therefore, my suggestion is to implement a counter somewhere in the item that displays the number of identifications.

This will stop people from being able to scam items by claiming that it only has one or two re ID's. I'd hate to see someone buy a mythic that they thought was "new", when it actually has been identified a numerous number of times.

TBH I don't think anyone would buy items based on their IDs anymore, cause of reiding. Also, sorry if I'm dense but I don't understand how the lesser an item has been reided, the higher its price. Thanks

say an item has less than average ids but u are willing to buy it because of re-idenitying as you are hoping that you will get better ids. if the item has been re-identified say 3 times then it will cost u alot less than if it was re-idenitified 6 times to re-identify the item yourself

Would the increment for the iding stick to the item and not the player? I thought it stuck to the players.

I wanted to state that a lv 4 ish unique costing 10 emeralds would cost 30 to re-id
Now compare that to lv 90 mythic. Even iding mythics will be very expensive even more for re-iding it (I'm speaking of 1 leish for the first id, believe me, that's A LOT if you think about the NEXT re-id)

I do like this idea BUT there is a better solution. If we really wanted to balance the economy, which I hope everyone in Wynn does, then this can actually help us! (I mean the re identifications)

Now you might all be thinking, "But Morgan? Why would this help if everyone can much more easily get better IDs to make more money?"

Well the answer is right there! People will no longer be able to charge 20 stacks for a stratiformis because even a minimum ws one can easily be made better so the worth of all of these super expensive items will go down to around 4-7 stacks instead of 10-20.

In the big picture this will help stabilize wynn's economy more than we think. It wouldn't really matter if we knew how many re identifications an item had because it wouldn't matter! The item would still be good and the buyer would still get a good item. Although your idea is good it wouldn't change much and to be perfectly honest the new re identifications WILL help the economy because nobody will be looking for that max strati or max mana freedom because they can get there own (if they have a mythic ofc)

Overall you had a very good idea but the economy is what needs fixing and if this suggestion was added it would stop the very thing that would be trying to fix the economy in the first place.

By no means am I trying to start flame or hate on your idea, as I said it is good but it would end up being counter productive

How would the suggestion stop fixing the economy? It's trying to prevent scamming, not remove the system entirely

Because if someone IDed an item multiple times, got bad IDs, and then sold it for a full price, the next owner would be stuck with a crappy weapon that they couldn't reID and that they just spent full price for
