Salted said the math was exponential, not linear.

 

i have a a+ in math, but not in wynnian math (got a F)

 

Well, i assumed that he meant the TOTAL price would go up at an exponential rate, and when he used the word exponential, he really meant, using exponents.

If it were exponential, and the formula was 12^x for a legendary, a third reroll would cost 27 le assuming the units were emerald blocks. And honestly, that seems excessive asf.

Back to my previous, if a little out there, assumption, the TOTAL price would be changing by 12x + 60, making the antiderivative's leading power 6x^2, thus, using exponents :3

 

But

then it's not exponential!

If you are saying the re-id costs more every time you use it, therefore it cannot be exponential, I do not believe you know what an exponential function is.

Are ya trying to say something else? That's all I can glean from that comment.

 

What I mean is that the function y=2x+60 is linear, where x is the number of times ided, and y the price.
The function does not follow the form of y=a*b^x+c, exponential.

 

Why not just ask Nyam :/
