no one seems worried about the fact that you can id items as much as you want but think about it
a 21% walk speed startiformis sells for 2 stax of le and a 91% sells for 40 stax of le .... prices are gonna change and a lot , ids wont matter nearly as much anymore . items will sell for a certain prices and it wont change according to ids
and there are a few questions that has to be asked
    1) if you pass an item from a player to a player is the id'ing price still gonna keep going up?
    2) is there litterly no limit at all to the amount of times u can reid?

There is most likely a soft cap. Unless people really want to waste stacks of le for a chance of a good item.
[edit by Aweman] There is most likely a soft cap. Unless people have the literal millions of stacks of le for a chance of a good item.

    1. Probably.
    2. Pretty darn sure on that one.
However, keep in mind ID costs are exponential. It'd be difficult to reID a Stratiformis more than once. As in, 3.5m stacks difficult.

Keep in mind the price will rise exponentially every time you re-ID an item.

Say, for example you have a Stratisformis with 80% walk speed, if re-IDing items is the same price as IDing them, something like this could happen:

Re-ID the Stratisformis for 1500+ emeralds
    40% walk speed!

Re-ID the Stratisformis again for 3000+ emeralds
    29% walk speed!

Re-ID the Stratisformis yet again for 6000+ emeralds
    48% walk speed!

Re-ID the Stratisformis yet again for 12000+ emeralds
    22% walk speed!

It seems to be a very risk vs. reward scenario with trying to get better IDs on a weapon, if someone isn't careful with re-IDing stuff attempting to get better IDs than they already have, it can quickly turn into even more of a money sink than horses.

I'm not sure if I read the thing correctly, but it would seem as if reidentifying also poses the risk of giving an even worse ID in certain areas, not to mention the fact that the price will keep rising each time. This means that people who are really determined to get a good ID could end up spending unspeakable amounts of LE, and might end up with an item even worse than what they started off with.

Personally, I think that this will benefit the Wynn economy greatly, even if a few people end up with better weapons. It'll be like current Wynn horse breeding, great rewards, but even greater risks.

tbh with the new update it wont be only the prices dropping, your items will start dropping on death too so you will need to buy more.

We're not the only people losing more items on death, the mobs are supposed to have slightly higher item drop rates too :D

On average you'll be getting an item worse than standard, since ID's range from 0.3x to 1.3x, I'm pretty sure that on average players will be losing money from this, and occasionally players will gain. It's like gambling, probably just as addicting.

Now on the one hand, this will make selling mythics very overpowered, on the other hand, it might actually give average players a chance at buying max ids for once.

Also wondering about this, but what wI'll happen to the ID'S of buffed items?will they all be raised? Or will we have to reidentify? Or something else?
