    Title says it all. Looking for a build that would make me the primary "DPS dealer" of a party. If Assassin/Mage is more suited to this role, please let me know.

    No, archer is horrible at dealing damage, all classes deal higher damage, and this is balanced with the fact that it also has the lowest defense, clearly

    Wasn't that obvious sarcasm?
    Depends on the builds, but if you are talking about the most base damage technically assassins have the strongest weapons in terms of the base damage on them (daggers)
