Thorns Vs Reflection

what is the difference between the thorns modifier on armor and the reflection modifier on armor?

 

Thorns is triggered by melee.
Reflection is triggered by ranged attacks like arrows/spells.

It is a chance to return the damage taken to the enemy.

 

Thorns: when mobs hit you ( melee), there is a percentage chance that they will be hit back (determined by the thorns id).

Reflection: I'm not so sure about this one. I think it's when a ranged mob shoots you with a projectile, there is a percentage chance you will not take damage(also determined by reflection id).

 

A lot of people get confused but it isn't mêlée and range
Thorns is for your normal attack (which is referred to as mêlée to be fair)
Reflection is for spells (which are usually ranged)

and you forgot to say, with thorns you still get damage yourself, with reflection you don't get any damage

 

If you use reflection you also get damage

 

Reflection=Thorns for spells

when I duel people with reflection I meteor them and they die and I get a shiton of damage
