New Resource Pack Makes Wynncraft Unplayable

I downloaded the resource pack okay, and loaded up the server. Thing is, I experience so much lag that the game has become virtually unplayable. I've tried playing without it, leading to a few laughable moments when my friend was shooting zombies with some acacia stairs, but all in all just like everyone says the game is so thoroughly confusing without the resource pack.
Any suggestions?

The problem is called lag not she/he can't install the resource pack. Please take a second to read, took me less than 10. Trust me reading before replying helps

 

or just see what salted did and turn it "off"

 

Once again. READ she/he already did and stated the game was confusing without it.

My response to this is : Install Optifine if you haven't, turn down render distance, turn off some of the cosmetic features in Optifine ( some tell you if they cause lag ) turning off particles can help but not recommended cause your spells and mob spells require them.

 

I really don't understand all the technical stuff and never knew what OptiFine did but holy golden apples did it make a difference. Thanks everyone!

 

I did read. If the resource pack she downloaded doesnt work, download it from the official game.

 

That is what she/he is saying they did smh, there is no difference between the one the server automatically downloads for you and the one you get off the internet, same shit, cause LAG, its not LITERALLY unplayable but just to that point, I have a old crappy Mac that I sometime use, once tried to play Wynn with it got 5 fps and dare I day it was unplayable having to freeze every 5 seconds compared to my gaming PC with 300 fps?
