The wiki says exp bombs don't affect it either. The wiki lies.

 

It could have already been changed to account for the upcoming update. However, as of now, they DO affect exp from quests (all of it, including bonuses from equipment/accessories, double exp bomb/weekend, wisdom pot, etc.)
