Well giving us tons of drops would make each item worth less, because inflation, and then people who have invested in Mythics and Legendaries will suddenly lose a lot of cash. I personally think the drop rates are fine how they are now. Although, maybe make Basics and Uniques a bit less common.

    Q. Why is Wynncraft economy so fucked up?
    A. Cause tons of players do tons of quests, get tons of LEs and never use them to buy Potions or something on Merchants who are the disposal of money.

We really need somewhat good disposal of the money. Like, @Net_Twerk 's "Cleanse Merchant". I really like his idea.

    Inflation.

Since there are no bills to pay and mobs never stop dropping emeralds, there isn't an equally balanced gain/loss emerald thing. So emeralds keep stacking up, and the only way to keep the economy from going up is by continually getting rid of emeralds to balance it out

Well... How about adding some system which encourages people to use their money(Emeralds)?

The purpose of that system could be removing emeralds from the community.

Another reason its fucked up because we have some dumbasses here getting their below average mementos saying its one of the rarest and best boots selling and are selling it for 80le
Tl;dr we have dumasses overpricing because they think they are cool shit and dumbasses believing them

Honestly you should really do as you said (3-4x loot) because currently the only easy way to get good items is having a loot bonus set which you certainly will have to afford, making rich people richer and poor people poorer. Imo this update should fix *a bit* the economy.

People keep saying that players get way more money but I still have just as much money as I had before Gavel.

Crystals that were worth barely an LE now cost more than a 1700% spell damage chestnut horse (yes i made that up) ffs

Technically speaking, adding more drops would have one of two effects, higher community prices, or lower community prices; higher would only be if there was some kind of monopoly on a specific weapon, lower because there would be more for the items to go around, however, get to givey with drops and it could cause a market crash

Lol, the rise of wynncraft Communism.

The only way to get rich (without scamming ppl) is to either find a 70+ walk speed stratiformis, a fatal or a max blue mask. With other words, the best odds is 1/140000 (the odds of geting a fatal).

    I study economy in school.
Ive been doing that for 2 years now (on friday my summer holiday is over so its time for year 3)

I think We will continue to see prices going up, even with more drops from mobs. That is until the interest shifts (for example when we dont want a speed archer anymore, strati will go down in price).

    That is just my opinion.

This is true. I started playing Post-Gavel, and it took me until lv 40 to get 2 LE. and I didn't buy my gear from other players. I actually just spent both of my LE on a Chakram before Inflation shot the price up again. (Chakram is a lv70 weapon, I am currently at lv41) not to mention My first week playing the game, I had 9EB from grinding around ragni for gear. Unless the High Level Gavel Quests give alot of Le, I dont see how anyone can get rich other then grinding in high level areas.

If you know a lot of loot chest locations, you can get a LE in an hour by running around molten heights and selling everything you get (either to item buyer or to players if it has good stats).

Some of us aren't spending much after seeing the rising prices and how expensive it is to buy decent gear. Pre-Gavel, I would find my gear from drops and not be so picky about stats. I got lucky in getting old end-game armor/wpn for my one class. Only bought 2 decent items for old end-game and the prices were <5LE. And since then I have been saving up, not really spending. Now post-Gavel, players are more aware of near max stats. And I'm not going to be able to afford good current end-game armor (L95-100) , as prices have been pushed up either by high demand (build trends) or by Traders setting high minimums and high buyouts at auctions. So even if I had saved up plenty to afford 1-2 stacks of LE, I can only afford to buy one piece (such as they go for at least 1-2 stacks LE). In the meantime, I still need to equip my other classes. I'm having to pay 2-3x the amount of LE just to buy old end-game gear for my mid level lasses. It is a never ending game of trying to play catch up.

Before gavel i had around 30le some of it from quests , like 5 of it from grinding and like 20 from selling stuff and it was hard to find someone who wanted to buy stuff , i had a level 75 warrior and only bought a like 1 endgame armour piece for 7le.I could have made like 1 le in 2 hours from running around the jungle collecting loot chests.

After gavel came out i somehow got up to 1stack and 32le mostly from quests and selling jester stuff which i could get ,like 20 jester items in 5mins and sell each 1 for like 1 le.
Recently i decide to play on my archer more which is now level 84 i also relised that i had a lot of items that i still didnt sell so i started selling stuff and i made a lot of le. Currently i have 5 stacks and 6le i also used like 32 le on breeding and got a chesnut horse.

The main reason theres so much money in wynn is because items drop more often and quests give a lot more money also theres a lot of new players joining every day.

The best solution is to make vilagers sell valuable items for emeralds and make stuff from vilagers cost more.
