    I'm saying that it's still done for safety reasons regardless on what you said or not. However, thinking back, what I should have said is that you will stay in a dungeon even if you log off, so...

    If you kill the boss you get teleported out, but if you don't kill it you won't get the tp, so logging out and in would make a person be inside the dungeon still. They've added exits on the boss rooms, most likely for people to leave the dungeons on such cases.
