Mage/Dark Wizard Help Ethereal/lunar Spine Build

im just looking for someone who can show me an Ethereal or Lunar Spine build.
Im looking for a build which consists of mana, spell damage and water damage.
I should be able to afford anything

You can switch out memento for capricorn and switch out suppression for raging wind.

 

I use this build with an ethereal, and when I hit 87 I will switch the defense with agility

Memento can have up to 4/4 mana and have more health? (not sure), if he uses Capricorn he will "only" have 17/4.

 

Memento is definitely better than Capricorn

 

17/4 mana is plenty and some people prefer the other stats that capricorn gives over the extra health and spell damage.

Capricorn gives skill points in both agi/intel and walk speed which both go well with Lunar Spine and the air/water theme. Im aware that Capricorn is underpowered, but i've tried both for my build and I prefer capricorn. In one of the change blogs they said they were buffing a lot of the legendaries and Capricorn will probably be buffed since Memento is a better choice for most builds. (This build is one of the cases where Capricorn works fine)

 

Yeah i was thinking about using Capricorn for my end game build . Since I'm a water mage , I mostly work on Intelligence instead of Agility for low mana cost so I won't need high mana regen for my build , and work on spell damage . Lunar Spine may be good after powders come out , but I guess Whimsy is a better air wand ... ? Don't mind if you use only 1 wand cuz I use 3 xD

 

Well Lunar Spine really isn't an air wand yet since powders haven't come out, but it will probably be the best air and air/water wand when that happens. For now Whimsy is probably better and if you don't want to use it as your main wand you can hold it out for the extra walk speed.

 

17/4 is the max you can get out of mana soooo...it really wouldn't matter either way.
