    It's not part of a quest; it's a secret-thing that has already been discovered. Don't remember what happens when you solve that puzzle, though.

    As for why I have so many weapons, I have a good neutral damage weapon, then I have at least one for each element (except earth, but smoke bomb deals plenty of earth damage).

    As far as the actual topic goes though, I think I actually found the chest by accident after pressing the button :P.
