Need Help, Texturepack Not Working!

Alright, i played wynncraft a year ago or so, and i decided to start a new character, when i join a world, it says downloading terrain, as usual, then it starts downloading the texturepack, but it is interrupted by the class selection gui... So i have no idea how to use the texturepack, and don't comment "Make sure rescourcepacks are enabled in the server list" I am 100% sure that they are enabled...I need help!

 

Uhm, what? Do you mean that i shouldn't play with a rescource pack or that i should update my launcher and delete everything "wynncraft related"?

I think that deleting that file, as Salted mentioned, is only deleting the resource pack. This will allow it to reinstall itself with a higher chance of working next time. I may be wrong though. But whatever Lord Salted says, is right.

 

Hmm...I tried deleting all of the legacy files, but it's still not working, i dont think there is a problem with the rescource pack, it's a problem with the server, canceling the download. I need some kind of help in-game.

Updating the minecraft launcher? I also unfortunately have a problem with that....It just says "downloading runtime" and it wont start/work, iv'e actively tried to fix that too, but it just won't work.

try doing /toggle autojoin on the server, then remove all the files.

 

Thanks, but its still not solving the problem unfortunately, now it just comes in, says "loading wynncraft pack" or soemthing and then it kinda refreshes (like i respawn super quickly) and it's not working....

No, it's not working, it just says "Downloading Rescource Pack Making Request 100%...." Like it did before, then the class selection cancels it out.

Now that i think about it, it doesent seem to be the class selection that is the problem, cause it cancels out the loading anyways when i use /toggle autojoin...I'm starting to give up on this.

 

Actually, installing minecraft again isn't a bad idea. Refreshing your files is highly recomanded if you haven't done it recently, especially if you use mods (and if you do it might be their fault). Just copy your "saves", "ressource packs" and "servers" files somewhere else, delete your .minecraft (%Appdata%/Roaming) then launch minecraft again and it download the game again (don't worry it's fast). All you have to do is to wait until minecraft is running, close it, copy the files I told you to keep in your new minecraft folder and you're good to go (if you're having issues with wynncraft, I do not recommand you to make a backup of your "servers" folder).

 

you sure you deleted the correct stuff?? Cause if that error keeps appearing it means you are not removing the correct thing from the .minecraft folder

FINNALLY! I was just messing around, and i tried using the launcher option from the miencraft folder (Just opening the launcher file) and it worked!!!

 

well... it's something :D
