    You guys that say "kweera" are assuming Q = KW.
    Qu = Kw where Q = K and u = w
    Q does not make a w sound.
    Take the word "ayagaq" for instance.

    Usually a "Q" is followed with a "U", so it makes a "Kw" sound. Instead, "Q" is used with a "K" sound, like in "Shaq".

    I for one think that "queer-a" is weird.

    Q does equal qw in most situations.
