Serious Liscense Or Job

So lately I've been wanting to get my driver's liscense as I am 15, and will soon be able to drive. At the same time I want a Job, but I don't know which I should prioritize first @_@ which one should I go for first?

 

Damn I got tagged. Do you want my advice?
Here's what I think:
Get a Driver's License First.
While many will disagree, and will say 'Get a Job so you can pay for your ... um whatever it is',
to get a good job (a well-paying one), you will definitely need a Car, for transport.
Many companies ask if you have a Driver's License or not. It will improve your chances
of getting in. So, learn to drive, then get a Job.

Here are some exceptions:
If your city wastes over 70 hours in traffic, get a Job first. Taking public transport or even walking may
be faster. I THINK that employers there will care less about a Car in there.
If you are getting a job which requires little or no mobility. (I don't mean office, desk ones. You still need a car to get there on time.
I mean, say, road sweeper etc.)
PS: I'm not looking down on you, please don't get offended by the road sweeper part.

To respond to the OP:
A driver's licence is probably the better choice. It's less stressful to worry about getting one now than to worry about getting one later (with the responsibilities of your job on top).

 

In the US you can get a driver's license at the age of 15?
I think you should get a driver's license first so that you don't have to worry about late for work because you miss the bus

I would say just do both at the same time. Tons of kids that are learning to drive work at my job and they just have their parents come with them so they drive to the job, parents drive home and at end of shift parents come back and then the kid drives home, this way you are earning money to either save up for your car and/or pay for your insurance while also learning how to drive.
