My Opinions On The Recent Community

It's not necessarily rude people, but there's a few peeps who make 0 serious posts, circlejerk and constantly bash noobs with sarcastic replies in the hope of getting likes.

The change within the community has to start with the change within ourselves. That's all my input on this.

Reisuke, hon, get off your man-period and suck it up. Every community has its bad apples. Wynn is lucky to only have a few, such as myself

But to all the other people who want to rant, please keep in mind that rather then all of us getting angry at each other and making these posts, we should all be making posts about how to solve it.

 

I just wanted to address the problem. I don't know how to solve it.

Hostile towards mods:
Yes, I agree, some players have been rude to mods.

Rude:
Well, this is the internet. You don't know where I live. You can't do anything about it. I can be as rude as I want until I'm banned, and that's pretty much all you can do about it. The web is the place you find a lot of bullying. It's not like elementary school where you tell a teacher. There's only so much you can do to stop cyber bullying.

Saying Wynncraft Sucks:
Most of these are jokes, but they may be from people tired of waiting for updates, tired of grinding, or completely biased coming from other RPGs like Dungeon Realms, Minescape and Zentrela. They may have some content that we don't have, and try are mad about that. (Housing)

 

Dang a post about the community I actually agree with.

 

It really irritates me whenever people call the staff lazy (Or something similar) as well. I have worked on coding a game myself, and it takes hours upon hours to write it all out. For a game of this caliber.... holy crap. Having to coordinate it between several other developers would only add to the chaos. Plus designing buildings for the areas to match adding to time. Then there are people who just sit around and complain about a fully fleshed out Minecraft game within a game, made from scratch, only to be criticized because it isn't exactly how they like it. Shove off.

 

I feel like this entire thread is directed at me

 

I like how a massively large percent of the drama is guild drama from Fox, and then HHU for a period of time.

But anyway, as much as we'd love to change the way people are, we can't. People are made with emotions, and those emotions contradict with other's emotions. Unless we were to change the literal genetics of the human beings (and whales) that play Wynn, there isn't too much that we can do to stop this, sadly.

But oh well.

Wow! I'm speechless on how well this is put! Great job! This is probably the best thread I've seen in months of playing Wynn and I think you hot it right on the nose what has to be done and what people are doing. I also feel like I've been part of the bad things in the forums. I always egg on the flame wars just because they make me he slightest bit mad and I know I shouldn't.

I think just by reading the comments and the thread I'm going to just ignore all of the flame and all the bad stuff. Then maybe I can actually help the community to be better instead of hindering it

 

Agreed. People don't always appreciate that stuff.
