Skill, no.

Ill just get it out there, there isn't skill involved in a mod's job, but there is a lot of time and effort involved in being a mod.

 

staff does not just mean mods...

Yes, the admins that have specifically been chosen to handle integral parts of keeping this server running have little to no skill.

 

Modding is not high-skill, but it does require a certain level of maturity and yes, it requires a decent amount of time and effort. Not everyone is mature, especially within a game where the average age is 12-15 years old.

I don't think you understand what skill is. Jumla is a programmer which is by definition a skilled trade, and he's a very good one at that. Salted and Grian are writers and builders, along with handling the hard task of managing a large staff team. Now, writing and art are also skilled trades by definition, and managing a large staff of moderators (plus the content team) is no small feat, nor is everything going to be perfect. I can't imagine your short time with the staff team makes you qualified to comment on the admin team, especially when almost all of us are pretty hands off. I will not comment on myself.

I suggest you let bygones be bygones, and don't try to turn this thread into a flamewar too. I think that writing an apology was a very mature thing to do, and I wish more people could act as such. Now, I think I've made my point so please don't get any further off-topic.
