So... Admiral Aegis had one of those, so it would be Admiral Aegis' Admiral's Aegis.

 

maybe its a slab and if u throw admiral aegis onto it it opes up a super secret quest !?!?!

 

Maybe it's ADMINISTRATOR Aegis, since it's in the ADMINISTRATION office.

it's a reference to one of the orignal gavel teasers, there's a video somewhere, but in it you get a voice message from admiral aegis and in the thread it says it might be his last words so idk, ill find the video and add it here

As ron here pointed out, it was a reference to a certain Admiral Aegis, Wynn Command, from the teasers. He also had access to his office in the vaults of the airbase. Pretty top secret stuff. (If I recall correctly, he died)

Holy shit I've completely forgotten about him, I thought the content team completely dropped that little backstory after the mob update.

Although.... I remember that the "story" of 1.12 was something like "some mysterious force appeared and changed the land forever" or something based on the improvement of Wynn's builds, it was specifically said that they didn't come from Gavel and that Aegis warned us with a message on these mysterious forces before he died.... I do wonder if we'll see these forces...
