Jester Items?

When I equip a jester Necklace, It has 26% loot bonus, I have 0% loot bonus, I put it on and have -17% loot bonus? How do these items work exactly?

 

The jester items have a negative loot & xp bonus for their set bonus.

 

I was only using the necklace ;c and I have +1 loot bonus and +11 xp bonus while not using them, put them on and both negative

 

The set bonus is applied when you are wearing one or more pieces.

 

How would I combat this?

 

The best way is to get more Jester Pieces. As you get more, the negative loot/xp bonus gets less dramatic: -25, -40, -75 (I think), with -75 for 4 pieces as well as the set is only made up of three pieces. So if you have a bracelet, necklace, and two rings you can have quite a bit of loot bonus. But in my opinion, high loot jester items are way too expensive for what they are. I invest in Old Keeper Rings because they are much less expensive and have more loot bonus than Jesters.

Also, try to have Jester Pieces with more than 25 xp AND loot. It makes it so that, no matter what, having that piece on is an advantage for you.
