Check Out These Machinmas!

That's not a good story, there's no plot, no reason and no exposition. Most of the machinima creators you see on youtube have a good story (with exposition).

Also if you wanna free editing software use windows movie maker. It doesn't have the watermarks. (If you wanna get a cracked version, or actually pay I'd recommend Sony Vegas Pro)
For the audio you should use Audacity. (It's free)

 

I dont have Windows tho...I have a mac.

Dude get an editing program that is not online and try to get a cracked recording software, those watermarks are annoying and look really unprofessional

 

Getting a cracked version or pirating is not good. Nuff Said.

 

I don't see how it's a problem, but alright. If you want a free software with no watermarks, use Windows Movie Maker for editing (Not the best but gets the job done). And use audacity for the audio. (It's also free and has no watermarks). If you have a mac use iMovie to edit (I'm pretty sure it's free and it has no watermarks).

Also, instead of just shaking the camera and walking around just use jump cuts, and please, stop shaking the camera! I know it takes longer to edit, but it's worth it. When you wanna make a high quality video, you need to put some effort.

And please, put some effort into the story! You need an idea for a story, something that's worth watching, but please don't just make a video of a you punching a zombie with a hoe. You need a story that's clear and fun to watch.

I hope I don't sound mean or anything like that, I just wanna give you criticism to help your grow, so please don't take it as an insult :P

I look at my own video all the time...and Im proud of myself...i know they suck compared to other machinmas...but im proud because..i mean...im JUST starting to make machinmas...so yea.

Macs actually come with a software called Quicktime . You should use it to record.

I believe OBS can be quite heavy however, and might be difficult for weaker computers to handle.
But the latest video is greater in quality to the first, keep improving, and you might get an almost faultless machinma.

Sorry, no thanks. If you are going to make a reappearing character in your videos, you need to make sure it has a personality and looks different from a normal character. Also, get an actor to play mobs. Regular monsters just aren't reliable.
