That everybody ignores and says that assassin needs a buff.

 

Well I'm sure melee builds will become much more popular than they are currently when the update releases due to having basically 5 ways to attack a mob with melee.

Salted said this was only part of the change log, so I'd assume quests will be including in one of the following logs that will come out in the next week or so.

I imagine the powder quest will be low leveled after all, enzan's brother showed red powders.

 

That was just a brief introduction. Perhaps there'll be a low level powder quest in Detlas and a higher level powder quest in Cinfras?

 

So for curiosities' sake I decided to see how much Empire Builder would do if you were to put 8 T5 Thunder powders into it: One of the powders shown in the teaser.


... If my calculation is correct, then Empire Builder, with 8 T5 Thunder Powders, will do 42-318 Thunder Damage...

Cuz, I have an Empire Builder, and I wanna see if it's worth it.

 

With a normal attack speed, that is not amazingly good, especially against thunder-resisting mobs.

 

Try Earth?

 

Go for the 5's.

 

The Blue powder being shown in the trailer is only T4, so it won't be as strong as an Empire Builder with T6, but here's a very rough calculation of Empire Builder with 8 T4 powders.

It should do 81-155 water damage with 8 T4 water powders. Which is still pretty good damage even for T4.

It seems water powder will be just a slight bit weaker than the other powders (By only like 3 damage and 2+%), which makes sense since the special abilities for powders are primarily melee, and even then, that's still a nice damage boost for water weapons with spell damage.

150-250 Earth Damage with 8 T5 Earth powders.

That's still considerably strong for a level 79 legendary that's not a mythic, and even then, it's primary isn't thunder, it's any element, which explains why it's slow for a thunder weapon, and pretty fast for an Earth weapon since, again, it's not tied to the attributes of any of the elements, which makes Empire Builder an incredible jack-of-all-trades, it's basically free elemental damage without having to deal with the cons of an element, but at the same time, you won't have any of the pros of an element.

 

So lemme get this straight

Me with 150 points in agility, full speed armor with full air powder 6 and a 82% stratiformis

99% dodge chance confirmed?
