Time to start stocking up on Red Powder Is and IIs

I just realized that all these charged and passive specials are going to make melee-only builds so much more better now.... Along with +tier attack speed being fixed so that it only affects melee DPS..... Wow. Spell Damage and Melee damage are going to be 2 entirely different playstyles now.....

This will also be a "buff" of sorts for the Assassin, as a good chunk of it's power comes from it's strong basic attacks.

Will the whole Gale/Ohms storyline and boss fight be a part of this update and in a later changelog or do we need to wait a few more SoonTMs before the rest of it comes out?

Well RIP Chakram, you were good until they ruined your spell damage by cutting +Tier attack speed's effect on spells

 

Remember, Chakram still has very fast attack speed by default so it still has a pretty good attack speed spell multiplier....

 

Yeah, but it's just *3 (if I remember correctly) compared to *4, and I only did 2500 damage average beforehand, and now I basically lost 600 spell damage... So That might be a problem

If the powders add a certain percentage to an elemental damage from neutral damage, they won't subtract that percentage from neutral, right?
Right?

 

It will replace the neutral damage with elemental damage, but, remember, since the elemental damage you replace it with can be boosted by skill points and stuff, you weapon will be stronger than before thanks to elemental damage boosting.

 

Finally... About 109438394 years without updates jk something like about 4 months FINALLY! Powders are coming back, INSERT THE HYPEE TRAINNN

 

This sounds great. Although I'm guessing it'll change the economy, with low-slot weapons sinking in price, and high-slot weapons skyrocketing.

 

I'm not even gonna use powder on my armor lol. It's really not worth it for a tank.

It seems that from the picture of the Abyssal Walkers in the teaser, the negative elemental defense from powders won't be so harsh, even for the high-leveled powders:

Now, take a look at your average Abyssal Walkers without powders:

Notice that the thunder powder increased the Thunder defense by 56, while only decreasing the Earth Defense by -20, while Salted may have used 2 thunder powders due to Abyssal Walkers having 2 slots and special abilities needing 2 of the same powders, that's still a big difference in elemental defense, and if you balance your powders with your tank build, I think you'll really benefit from the powders, plus, don't forget the passive abilities you'll get from putting powder on armor.
