Wynncraft Memories

This is a thread for any of your nostalgic (or not) memories from Wynncraft, whether they be achievements you're proud of, or just goofing off with your friends and being not at all productive.

One of my favorite memories is from before the Gavel update, when my friend and I decided to see what the huge mysterious door at the opposite side of the ocean was. After being utterly disappointed to find that it was nothing more than a giant mysterious door, we climbed the mountain to the huge white thing above the door, jumped off, and had a competition to see who could teleport (we're both mages) through the air the farthest before hitting the ground.

I also have a lot of awesome memories from Pirate Island when the same friend and I played hide and seek in the ravine city.

Needless to say we aren't very productive when we play together. ◉з◉

 

One time, my friend got a lagg spike, and he couldnt see me in game. He could see my spell and particle effects, but not me. So I rode around on a horse while helping him with a few quests in Olux swamps. In Skype, I changed my voice and claimed I was a magic, talking horse that was my friend's spirit animal.

 

Memories... alright... got to dig down deep into my brain and find my lost thoughts...

Alright, I got one. There was this duper who gave me a crap ton of endgame armor (this is all before Gavel of course)... he gave me 64 LE, 64 of each of the powders, and a white horse. I was sure happy, but later I created a thread thanking him for his generosity to find out that he was a duper. This still amuses me to this day that I made a thread thanking him and then turns out I actually reported him O_O

 

Ahh the memories of the Rotten Zombie Tree. Constant flame wars, kill stealing, and most of all, pure boredom sitting there spamming right-left-left.

 

When I first started playing wynncraft it was with a friend while we were supposed to be working on our science fair project 2 years ago. At some very low level, (11 I think) he lost all of his soul points and quit forever. This amuses me to this day.

 

ah yes, the old days, the time of.........................lag................... and................... no............. quests

 

When my brother and I went nooby and prompt trading by actually typing in /trade [name].

Dead Miner Cave ;3;
When I was trying to sleep in a bed in Detlas ;3;
When Wynn was music-less ;3;

Memories.

 

Honestly my only Good memory on wynncraft was meeting @Ganny and spending so much time with him on there hehe c: It's a memorable thing for me <3

 

I have several (totally not posting to 10 so that I can make threads)

1. Turning on Chocapic shaders in Almuj.
2. Back then, I farmed in Nemract all the time (It used to be my favorite town)
and my friend would say "no don't go to nemract go to detlas"
Now my favorite is Kandon-Beda
3. Making it from Llevigar to Ahmsord in 1 day (Lv. 48, Archer ofc).
That feeling of satisfaction arriving in Eltom after 5-6 deaths from Thanos
That feeling of confusion when looking for Rodoroc...above ground only to find Thesead
That feeling of /kill to get into Kandon-Beda
And finally making it to Ahmsord, only to find out there's nothing to do there

 

Back when there were no quests, I grinded sheep from lvl 8 to lvl 15.

 

I miss the old silverfish dungeon, oh how wonderful it was. People used to always shout doing dungeon raids & it was the time before you needed keys so there were much more people who came. MUCH MUCH more. Now almost next to none come if you do a shout about it.

 

Hm? What's wrong with that? I find the chocapic shaders to be pretty nice. Lag much?

 

What I was trying to say is that Almuj looks real cool with those shaders. And yes, shaders in any area of Wynncraft drops my fps to ~15.

Ah, yes. I died in the Silverfish dungeon with 2 SP and lost all my items. I quit for a few months after that :L

 

Uhh... memories....
1. That time I dropped my legendary wand into the Nether portal area at like level 30-something and nearly died trying to get it back
2. "Swarm starts in 3 minutes" "Server restarts in 2 minutes", or when we were halfway through a swarm and the server restarted
3. Thinking that the level recommendations on the map were level requirements and grinding for like an hour to get into Detlas
Probably other stuff too but I don't remember most of it

 

I remember the 'figt me i rekt u' meme back in the old fourms.

 

My memories... hmm

1. Dying alot
2. Dying more
3. Getting my first legendary (Sandstab)
4. A swarm starting just for it to end by reset
5. Getting my first Chestnut
6. Losing all my items
7. Finally my favorite is becoming a pirate from all the sea quest

The belief as a lv 40 that lv 50-60 mobs drop like 1 eb each :d

 

My best memory... was probably (xD) figuring out what tf the Zombie Dungeon was (back when it was a tree). I was about level 22 and I was like...
wtf is this idk but lets try to get in
It's needless to say I died a lot.

I also have a funny memory of when Gavel first came out. It requires a bit of setup though xD
So I quit back in 1.12 because I didn't like it (also the VIP town was gone, that was weird xD). So I rejoined in Gavel, and was grinding in Ancient Nemract with a new class when I found the "new" zombie dungeon, and I thought:
Wut.. what is that doing here shouldn't it be somewhere else??? *insert confusion here*
