Powders

I'm kinda confused abt the upcoming powders. Can anyone fill me in on there usage and the extent. Soz if this has been answered before.

They'll from it looks like covert a set damage into the input powder types elemental damage, and do something with elemental defence on armor, most likely.

 

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but there are theories going around that they will have a connection with elements

 

You can sniff 'em and get all cool effects and particles and such

 

not a theory, the DO have something to do with elements. If you look at the most recent teaser, you can see that the powders are clearly elemental powders, and they definately affect damage, and they also seem to have some sort of spell bonus.

 

I don't really care what they do thb, but I gotta say I'm hype af for being able to have a rain cloud over my head!

 

Take a look at the new teaser that salted posted.

 

Nothing has been confirmed, but this is what the teasers show:

- Each powder is connected to an element
- Red is fire
- Blue is water
- Green is earth
- Because there are five elements, not three, there are yellow (thunder) and white (air) powders
- You can combine powders
- One of the teasers said '100% blue powder'
- The number of tiers has gone from two to six
- There are also new relic shrines for the new tiers and powder types

I believe that they add elemental damage to a weapon... Cluster is the new Az people... Not to mention empire builder...

 

Sadly, until the powders are re-implemented only R,B,G T1 and T2 Work. I've found the A T4 and the W T4, neither work.

EDIT: I found the T T4, but I can't remember where it was lol

 

Did you read the rest of my post? Because I said the things which have been shown. A picture doesn't confirm anything, it leaves us to speculate about them.
Also, there were a lot more teasers on powders than those two.

 

Those were the two I had the patience to dig up. The Thrundacrack is confirmed because it's powder slots are filled up. The rain cloud Jumla literally said it had to do with powdrs.

 

Salted said in a teaser that there would be 5 powder types: Fire, Earth, Water, Air, and Thunder, and that there would be 6 tiers for each type. I'm assuming putting the powders on weapons or armor pieces will be the same, but I can't wait to see what the new effects will be.
